This dog loves the wide open spaces of the oak chaparral. 💚✌🏼️

On this day 14 years ago, he came into this world as a Nicaraguan mutt. He was gross when I bought him a few months later for $7 from one of the farmers I worked with, covered in fleas and ticks and missing hair... After all but 3 months of his life together, I can officially say he has not aged gracefully into a cleaner, more regal dog (he hated his birthday bath). But I think we would expect nothing less from this ridiculous mutt. Happy Birthday buddy, you're still my favorite.

I've come to terms with the fact that I'm a reclusive extrovert. I need a lot of external stimulation, and people to talk to, but I also read too much and then sometimes write about it 😂. I posted a blog about my 2021 existential crises, in case you're curious about some of the things bothering me lately. ✌🏼️💚🌎

Erica and Mike are my favorites. They make me want to move to Guam and help conserve their coral reefs and get rid of feral hogs and just be a regular conservation queen like Erica when I grow up. 😍🏝️

You can't tell, but he's stoked. ✌🏼️💚🐶
